Invite your date to go out Saturday evening. Surprise him by taking him to a sporting event (buy tickets in advance). Ask your date to teach you how to change a flat tire. Then learn how to check the oil, radiator, battery, transmission fluid, tire pressure, power steering and brake fluids. Invite your date over for "dinner". Offer to cook a meal he has never tried. Together, make a list of ingredients, purchase them, then make dinner together. Share a giant banana split at an ice cream parlor. Help decorate for a church party. Go to a library and look up some books on astronomy. Learn the names of the constellations and where they can be found in the sky. Then go to an open grassy area with a blanket and try to find these constellations and other known planets. Help clean the church grounds or participate in a beautification project in your community. Put together an aquarium. Go to pet shop purchase fish and necessary equipment. Then design and build a new home for the fish. Read to children at a hospital with your date. When you act happy and enthusiastic, you will feel happy, and the children will reciprocate. Go out to breakfast before school. Bake cakes and decorate them with frosting, sprinkles, candies, etc. while blindfolded. The couple whose cake looks best wins a certificate. Deliver the cakes to less privileged individuals in your area. Attend church together. Discuss the sermon afterwards, while having dinner with your family. Offer to pay for a round of golf, if he will teach you how to play. He will probably jump at the chance! Afterwards, go out for sundaes.
